Panel Systems has announced that it is now the UK distributor for Alucoil’s Larcore aluminium honeycomb panels. Larcore is an A2 fire-rated structural panel combining high load performance with low weight, and is used in a range of industries including transport and marine.The panels are manufactured in a continuous process, with an aluminium honeycomb core and aluminium skins which are coated with a primer suitable as a finished surface or for further processing, including colour coatings.As well as offering standard Larcore panels, the Sheffield-based distributor says it can fabricate the material for bespoke applications, including structurally bonding the panels to additional finishes, creating sandwich panels and cutting to shape with CNC machining.
